To buy a cat for a child

Almost all children love animals and that is why a lot of conflicts appear between parents and children. Of course a child wants to have a pet, because it is a friend for him and of course a toy. But the problems appear when a child doesn't want to take care of its "friend". In this case parents take the responsibility to feed the pet, wash it, get to the doctor, and clean the toilet of cats and the house from their hair. But children can be really persistent and parents want to make them happy that is why they buy cats for their children.

In majority of cases the reason why parents don't want to take a cat is the responsibility and duties they need. But sometimes parent afraid that a cat may hurt their child or extend some kinds of diseases.

But any way it is better to buy a cat for a child. If children ask their parents to buy a cat it is a good sign and parents should be happy for them and give their children such possibility. In other case a child will get the cat from the street, and everybody will agree with me that it is worse than to buy a good-looking and healthy cat.

Besides, psychologists say that every child in this or that age feels the necessity to communicate with animals. According to their researches children need communication with animals on psychological level. If a child doesn't have the pet he is becoming more depressed and aggressive.

But before buying it, it is necessary to pay attention to several moments. First of all your child must be adult enough to keep the pet. A kitten, like a child, needs to live and grow in the conditions of love and silence so that they could feel themselves calm and safe. But sometimes children can be really rude with their pets, and the problem is not that your child is aggressive but the fact that the child doesn't understand that it makes the animal feel uncomfortable.

But if your child is ready to have a cat then it will be the best experience for him, because it will teach him to be responsible and organized.

In majority of cases cats just love children even the smallest ones. They sleep with them in one bed, always rub against their legs and lick their arms. A cat will never harm your kid on purpose. If a cat doesn't like your child and feels jealousy it will simply avoid the child, but it will never attack a child.

But of course children must be taught how to behave with cats. Parents should teach them and explain that if the child pulls the tail of a cat it won't like it. Parents should also explain that animals deserve respect and love.

Parents should also teach their children to give the necessary attention to their pets. Some cats need especially delicate attention and care and child should understand that.

Before taking a cat to the house it is necessary to visit a doctor and find out whether the child or any member of the family has the cat allergy. It is also necessary to visit the veterinary that will tell you the main rules of keeping a cat in the house, will explain all medical points and will advice you how to behave in this or that situation with a cat.
