Try to keep children away from a kitten, they may hurt it. Children may make it always play with them but even being a kitten a cat is independent and loves freedom that is why cats will never accept the position of a toy and can become very dangerous like every hunter.
From the first days it is necessary to maintain the relationships of mutual respect. Kittens and cats in general never accept violence and orders, but will always be thankful for tenderness and respect.
It is necessary to remember that cats don't understand human words, you can tell thousands of times that it is forbidden to eat here, to scratch the furniture etc, it won't understand you. But shouting can make your cat stop trusting you and it can become aggressive to you.
The most frequent conflicts that appear between cats and their keepers is the toilet. As a rule a kitten already knows the place of toilet, it learns it from its mother, but the new place can cause some problems. Cats are animals which like cleanliness and demand the same from their keepers. That is why a toilet should always be well cleaned and prepared.
Kittens require special feeding. It is necessary to look carefully what a kitten eats and what it prefers. There is special food for kittens in shops, but if you have some doubts it is necessary to ask a doctor what food is the best for a kitten.
Any way a kitten is a baby, so violence and cruel intentions won't do any good and may cause negative attitude towards people it lives with especially if it was taken away from its mother.
